PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS
Job Requirements
- Good communication skills in both written & verbal form, that help establish and maintain cordial relations & clear communications with staff from various units and external associates.
- Organized, punctual, able to prioritize, multi-task and perform quality work under pressure situations.
- Work closely with the Creative Director, Production Manager, Producers & Production Team by attending & coordinating planning meetings, with efficient follow-ups and updating all relevant units like Programming, Scheduling, Subtitling & Operations, with changes and updates of delivery schedules.
- To plan accurate timelines/schedules of various projects, coordinating and ensuring timelines are met for delivery of on-air promos, vignettes, TVCs, short & long form with all the correct documentation in proper respective Production Folders.
- Check copyright and permission issues and ensure applications are submitted, eg. Censorships, & royalties are paid for additional images, music or footage.
- Book VO talents and sound studios, locally and overseas, liaise with VO managers on rates, schedules & invoice payments. Deal with artists’ payments & expenses.
- To assist in filming, making sure that production crews and equipment are booked, costings are approved, ordering and confirming all materials needed for filming, casting, equipment and props.
- Able to problem solve or trouble shoot on any issues arising before and after filming, regarding personnel, equipment and props, with documentation, eg. Talent Release Forms, Location Release, Non-Disclosure Agreement.
- Ensure continuity, both on location and in the studio, keep accurate shot lists & logs for post-production, record Daily Production Report and submit to Production Manager.
