Max Wittawat Jermsurawong

A young and emerging chef, Max began learning to cook at just 15-years-old after receiving praises from his friends. As his passion for cooking grew, Max enrolled himself into Le Cordon Bleu, where he learnt French cooking. After graduating, Max moved to England for six months so he could learn and understand the elements of western food. When he returned to Bangkok, Max was approached by Chef Ian Kittichai to be his corporate assistant chef, which marked the start of his mentorship under the world famous chef. Under Chef Ian Kittichai, Max was exposed to various international cuisines, most notably Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Mumbai and New York, where he helped to create menus for restaurants and bars.

Besides working hand in hand with Chef Ian Kittichai, Max has traveled across Thailand to learn about the diversity of his country's regional cuisines. He is also the host of web series, Oh My Dish and the chef at Spot Dessert Bar, New York.
