Brown Rice With Apples

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of brown rice
  • 2 cups of apple juice
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • One-half cup of raisins
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • Salt and pepper
Methods
  1. Put rice, juice, cinnamon, raisins and apple into a medium-sized pot.
  2. Bring to a boil and then cover with a tight fitting lid.
  3. Reduce heat and let simmer until rice has absorbed all of the liquid and is tender, about 30 minutes.
