Ingredients
  • 500 grams Flour
  • 600 millilitres Water
  • 2 Eggs
  • 120 grams Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 20 grams melted Butter
  • 20 grams milk Powder
  • Topping:
  • Sweet Condensed Milk
  • Sugar
  • Chocolate sprinkle
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Ground Peanuts (optional)
  • Butter
Method
  1. Mix all the ingredients together
  2. Rest for 1 hour
  3. Fry in thick frying pan until it’s bubbling, sprinkle some sugar and close with lid until fully cooked (makes 4 small pan or 2 big frying pan)
  4. Place in cutting board, brush the martabak with butter, sprinkle toppings, cut and serve
  5. Enjoy when it’s hot
