Ingredients

  • 30 grams belacan
  • 5 pieces red chili
  • 5 pieces cili padi
  • 150 grams onion
  • 150 grams tomato
  • 4 tablespoons Kalamansi juice (from 6 – 7 lime)
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Method

  1. Roast belacan with some oil in the wok
  2. Add onion, chili, tomato & continue to fry for a few minutes
  3. Blend all fried ingredients in the food processor.
  4. Season it with lime juice, vinegar, sugar & salt if necessary.
