Banana Yogurt Smoothie

Step 1 - Toast and crush hazelnuts
- In a pan on medium heat, toast hazelnuts for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove and let cool. Once cooled, crush with the flat of a knife or a rolling pin. Hazelnuts are good for your heart, help reduce the risk of cancer, and aid in muscle, skin, bone, joint and digestive health. They are rich in unsaturated fats, high in magnesium, calcium and vitamins B and E.
Step 2 - Blend smoothie
- In a blender, add banana, ice, milk, yogurt and 2 Tbsp honey. Blend for 2 minutes, or until desired consistency. A rich source of potassium, bananas also have three times as much vitamin C as apples.
Garnish and serve!
Pour into a tall glass and top with crushed hazelnuts.
