Chicken Fried Rice
The perfect solution to make good use of the leftovers from last night’s dinner! Whip up this quick Chinese fried rice dish in no time. Here’s how!

Step 1 – Fry Scrambed eggs
- In a pan on medium-high heat, heat up 2 Tbsp vegetable oil and fry 3 beaten eggs for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until scrambled.
Step 2 – Stir-fry carrots, long beans and chicken
- In the same pan, add minced garlic, carrots, long beans and chicken. Stir-fry for 4 to 5 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
Step 3 – Add rice to pan
- Increase heat to high and add cooked rice, 2 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp sesame oil into the pan. Stir-fry for 5 minutes, until rice is well combined with ingredients.
Step 4 – Stir in spring onions
- Remove from heat and stir in spring onions. Taste and if needed, season with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp white pepper.
Plate and serve!
Plate chicken fried rice on serving plate and garnish with additional spring onions and chili flakes. Serve hot.
