Asian Spiced Chili Dog

  • 4 Hot dog buns (lightly toasted with butter)
  • 4 Chicken frankfurts (lightly pan fried)
  • Chunky Spiced Chicken Bolognese
  • 2 pieces Chicken breast (diced)
  • 1 Onion (diced)
  • 3 Garlic cloves (chopped)
  • 200 grams Tomato coulis
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon Tao cheo (Fermented Soy Bean) paste
  1. Sear the diced chicken with corn oil in a pan and season. Remove the chicken and in the same pan, add in the garlic and onions and cook until brown
  2. Add in all the spice powders and continue cooking for 3 minutes. Add in the tao cheo paste and tomato coulis. Allow to simmer for 3 minutes
  3. Add the diced chicken back into the pan and continue cooking for 3 minutes. Season to taste
  4. Assemble hot dog and spoon the chunky chicken sauce over
