Black Pepper Beef Glass Noodles

  • 300 grams minced Beef
  • 1 large Yellow onion, halved then sliced thinly
  • 2 large Green chillies, diced
  • 1 + 1 tablespoon ground Black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire (Lea & Perrins) Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 4 teaspoons Light soy sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 bundles of Glass noodles, softened in cold water for about 10 minutes, till softened
  1. Mix together 1 tablespoon of ground black pepper, the Worcestershire sauce, sugar, light soy sauce and garlic in a bowl. Combine half of this mixture with the minced beef and leave to marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Set the rest of the marinade aside
  2. Heat up 2 tablespoons of oil in a wok or large pan, and sauté the marinated beef over a high heat. When it starts to cook on the outside, add the onion slices. As the onion starts to soften, add the drained glass noodles and stir to combine. Pour in the remaining marinade and cook until the noodles have absorbed the liquid. Stir in the green chilli and remaining 1 tablespoon of ground black pepper. Serve
