Brown Butter Noodles With Peas
Try this quick and easy brown butter noodles recipe from Fresh with Anna Olson.

  • Yield 4 servings
  • 340 grams pkg Wide Egg Noodles
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • 1 small Onion, finely diced
  • 1½ cups frozen Baby Peas
  • Salt and Pepper
  1. Cook egg noodles in salted boiling water until tender
  2. Drain and set aside
  3. In a large pot, melt butter over medium high heat until the foam that the butter produces subsides
  4. Add onions and saute until browned, about 5 minutes
  5. Add egg noodles and peas and reduce heat to medium, stir to warm through
  6. Season to taste
  7. Alternatively, I like to stir in 1 cup of cottage cheese immediately before serving (especially alongside pork chops or a pork roast)
