Bulgogi Kimchi Fried Spaghettini

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Water
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon toasted Sesame seeds
  • 3 Green onions
  • 1 Yellow onion
  • 3 cloves of minced Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of Black pepper.
  • ¾ cup Kimchi
  • 2 cups fresh Spinach
  • 150 grams Spaghettini
  • 10 slices of thinly Sliced beef
  • 3 teaspoons Japanese rice vinegar
Method
  1. Combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, sesame oil, sesame seeds, 2 chopped green onions and 2 cloves of garlic in a medium bowl
  2. Add sliced beef and mix to coat, and set aside. This will be a quick marinade
  3. Boil a pot of water, and cook pasta until al dente
  4. In a pan, heat some oil, and add ½ a sliced onion. Sautee for 6 min
  5. Add chopped garlic and chopped kimchi, plus about 2 tablespoon of the natural juice from the kimchi. Stir fry for 3-4 min, until kimchi is slightly brown
  6. Add beef and stir fry until nearly cooked. Add drained pasta
  7. Add fish sauce, and adjust seasoning with additional soy sauce
  8. Stir fry on medium-high to develop some colour on the pasta
  9. Plate, and top with extra sesame seeds and green onion
