Ingredients
  • 4-5 whole cloves
  • 5 green cardamom pods
  • 3 brown cardamom pods
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon black tea leaves
  • 1 cup milk
  • A pinch of ground cardamom
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon
Method
  1. Pour milk into a small pot and bring to a simmer
  2. Turn heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes
  3. Strain into a 2 cup measure and using an electric milk frother or an espresso machine, steam the milk until it is thick and foamy
  4. Pour into 2 large latte cups and spoon foam on top
  5. Sprinkle with cardamom and cinnamon and serve
