Choconut Turon with Salted Caramel

  • Choconut Turon:
  • 3 pieces of Saba bananas, sliced
  • 1 Cup of White sugar
  • ½ Cup of ripe Langka (jackfruit), sliced
  • 1 Cup of Choconut
  • Lumpia Wrapper
  • Scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • Salted caramel sauce:
  • 1 Cup of White sugar
  • 1 Cup of Water
  • ½ of All-purpose cream
  1. Turon:
  2. Dip the sliced saba in sugar until it is well coated
  3. Wrap it in lumpia wrapper, together with jackfruit and choconut
  4. Heat oil and fry the turons until they are golden brown
  5. Drain in paper towels
  6. Serve turon with salted caramel dip on the side or drizzled it on top together with the ice cream
  1. Salted Caramel:
  2. In a pan, mix the sugar with 1 cup of water. Cook until it turns into caramel
  3. In a separate sauce pan, warm the cream and mix it with the sugar mixture
