Ingredients
  • Cumin and Chilli Spiced Beef Tenderloin
  • 4 Beef tenderloin (120 grams each)
  • 2 tablespoons Cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Chilli powder
  • 1 Lemon
  • 4 Garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • Sesame Mushrooms
  • 200 grams Oyster mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 10 grams Sesame seeds (toasted)
Method
  1. Cumin and Chilli Spiced Beef Tenderloin:
  2. Combine the garlic, mustard and the rest of the spices into a bowl and mix well
  3. Add in the zest and juice of 1 lemon and season to taste. Add in 2 tablespoonsp of corn oil to the paste
  4. Marinate the beef with the paste for 15 minutes
  5. Pan fry the beef for 4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness
  1. Sesame Mushrooms:
  2. Pan fry mushrooms in butter until brown. Season with salt and pepper
  3. Drizzle sesame oil and toss with the sesame seeds
