Garlic Butter Prawns

  • Yield 4 servings
  • ½ kilogram Large size Prawns, shells intact and deveined
  • 6 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 2-3 piece Red and Green Long Chilli, sliced in half
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley
  • ⅓ block Salted Butter
  • ½ cup Banana Ketchup 
  • 1-2 tablespoon Chilli Sauce
  • ½ cup Sweetened Soda/Sprite
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt
  1. In a wok place or a frying pan stir fry the garlic until fragrant
  2. Then add in the salted butter and let it melt. Now add in prawns and stir cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until it turns to red. Add in the soda, cover the wok or pan and bring to a boil then lower the heat to a simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes
  3. Add in the banana ketchup, chilli sauce, sliced chilli and parley, continue to stir cook for another 3 to 5 minutes and the prawns are evenly coated with the sauce
  4. Serve with garlic chips and chopped parsley Enjoy!
