Honey Cornflake Cups

  • 200 g cornflakes, lightly crushed
  • 40 g honey
  • 70 g unsalted butter
  • 25 g caster sugar
  • 4 Tbsp almond flakes, toasted
  • 1 Tbsp white sesame seeds, toasted
  1. Preheat the oven:
  2. Preheat oven to 160°C.
  1. Make the honey mixture:
  2. Melt butter, sugar and honey in a saucepan till it bubbles.
  3. Remove from heat.
  1. Coat the cornflakes:
  2. Stir cornflakes, almond flakes and sesame seeds into the honey mixture.
  1. Bake the cups:
  2. Fill the mini cups with evenly coated cornflakes.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes till golden brown.
  1. Let cool:
  2. Let cool completely to allow the cornflakes to set and stick together.

  2. Make sure all cornflakes, almond flakes and sesame seeds are evenly coated with the honey mixture so they will stick together well
  3. Keep cornflakes cups in air-tight container to maintain their crunchiness
