- 1½ cups Sugar 375 mL
- 2½ cups water 625 mL
- 1 bunch fresh Mint (about ¾ cup (190 mL)), plus extra for garnish 1
- 1 cup fresh Lime juice 250 mL
- Bring sugar, water and mint, slowly up to a simmer. As soon as a simmer is reached, remove from heat, strain, and let cool to room temperature
- Stir in lime juice and serve over ice, garnished with fresh mint
