Miso Cod Fish

  • 5 Cod fish fillets
  • For Marinade:
  • 100 grams Miso paste
  • 50 millilitres Mirin
  • 50 millilitres Kikkoman soy sauce
  • 100 grams Black pepper
  • 2 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 5 grams fresh Thyme, chopped
  • 80 millilitres Red palm oil
  1. To marinate Codfish:
  2. Mix miso paste, mirin, Kikkoman soy sauce, black pepper, garlic, and thyme in red palm oil, then rub into codfish
  3. Leave to marinate for 5 minutes
  1. To cook Codfish:
  2. Set some oil in a frying pan over high heat and sear the codfish to brown its surface
  3. Make sure to coat all sides of the fish in oil, then place in the oven and bake at a temperature of 170°C for 8 minutes
  4. Serve immediately with appropriate garnishing
