Ingredients
  • Cooked rice that's been overnight
  • Minyak samin / Ghee
  • Goat / Lamb meat with a lil bit of fat
  • Curry leaves
  • ½ teaspoon ground Fenugreek
  • 3 grind Chillies
  • 5 minced Shallots
  • 2 minced Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 2 cm Ginger
  • 2 Tamarind
  • 4 Lime leaves
  • 150 millilitres Coconut milk
  • Fried Melinjo (Bitter nut) crackers
  • Murtabak
  • Spring roll skin / Wrapper (large)
  • Minced goat / Lamb meat
  • Brunoise of potatoes par cooked
  • 2-3 Eggs
  • Spring onion
  • Curry powder
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Pickles
  • Cucumber
  • Shallots
  • Lokio
  • Carrots
  • Salt
  • Red chillies
  • Cabe rawit / Chilli padi
  • Vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Garnish

Method
  1. Murtabak:
  2. Heat oil in a pan, put in potatoes until it’s a lil bit brown then in with the minced lamb/goat, curry powder, sugar, salt, pepper and spring onions until it’s cooked. Let it cool
  3. In a bowl mix eggs and the cooked meat
  4. Take one spring roll paper, put about 1 tablespoon the egg meat mixture, wrap it like an envelope, seal it with egg and feep fry it until golden brown
  1. Nasi Goreng:
  2. Heat about 3 tablespoons oil then cook the meat until its brownish, put it aside
  3. With the same oil heat the ingredients except for the coconut milk until you can smell the aroma, then add the coconut oil, stir until its reduced, than add the meat
  4. Add the rice and spring onions. Serve it with the murtabak telor and pickles
