Ingredients
  • 150 grams Pork
  • 150 grams Pork liver
  • 200 grams medium size Shrimps, shelled
  • 1 litre Water
  • 500 grams Lucban miki Noodles
  • 100 grams Carrots, sliced
  • 100 grams Pechay [Cabbage], cut crosswise
  • 100 grams Sitsaro/Snowpeas, stringed
  • 100 grams Sayote, sliced
  • 30 grams Garlic, minced
  • 50 grams Red onion, chopped
  • To taste Patis(fish sauce)
  • To taste Soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper, ground
  • Cooking oil
  • Calamansi
  • Banana leaf
Method
  1. In a sauce pan add 1 liter of water and boil
  2. Add pork meat and liver and simmer until cooked. Take them out and sliced into strips
  3. Add shrimp heads and peel to the pork stock and simmer for another 5 minutes. Set aside
  4. In a large wok, sauté onion and garlic
  5. Add sliced cooked pork and peeled onion and garlic
  6. Add 750 ml of the stock, simmer for 5 to 10 minutes
  7. Add miki noodles stir and cook for 5-10 minutes or until noodles are soft and have absorb most of the broth add more stock if necessary
  8. Add all vegetables stir and cook for another 3-5 minutes or until vegetables are just cooked
  9. Season again with patis, soy sauce, and pepper to taste
  10. Serve on banana leaf with calamansi
