  • Special Paste:
  • 250 grams Onion
  • 80 grams Garlic
  • 10 pieces Red Chilli (blended)
  • 2 tablespoons Salted Bean Paste
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • Fried Rice:
  • Bowl of White Rice
  • 5 pieces medium-sized Prawns
  • 40 grams Chicken Breast (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped Spring Onion
  • 1 tablespoon Del Monte whole Kernel Corn
  • 1 tablespoon fried Rice Paste
  • 1 Egg
  1. Special Paste:
  2. While heating up the wok, blend the onion and garlic together
  3. Fry the onion and garlic until its fragrant, approx. 10 minutes
  4. Add the blended red chilli and fry for another 7 to 8 minutes
  5. Add the tomato paste into the wok and continue to fry for another 1 to 2 minutes
  6. Then add in salted bean paste and stir well for another 6 to 8 minutes
  7. Season with sugar and is ready to be used
  1. Fried Rice:
  2. Marinate chicken and prawns with salt and pepper with a little oil
  3. Prepare the bowl of white rice in a mixing bowl and add in the paste prepared earlier gradually
  4. Mix them well until the rice is covered all over with the paste
  5. Add in the corns and spring onion by stirring them together with the rice
  6. Transfer the rice onto a microwave plate
  7. Place the chicken and prawns on top of the rice.
  8. Put the rice into the microwave on high heat for 3 minutes
  9. Remove the rice from microwave and stir the cooked rice well
  10. Topped the rice with a sunny-side egg
  11. For garnishing and more flavours on the egg, prepare a bowl and mix 1 tablespoonp of oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil & 1 teaspoon of soya sauce together with finely chopped spring onion
