Ingredients
  • For the Peanut Sauce:
  • ½ cup veal stock (125 ml)
  • ¼ cup smooth peanut butter (60 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (15 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar (15 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (15 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon toasted sesame oil (2 ml)
  • Salt and pepper
  • For the Spicy Orange Sauce:
  • ¼ cup Mirin (60 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar (30 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce (5 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon Chilli flakes (2 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon Sriracha (2 ml)
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Juice of 2 oranges
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger (15 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (15 ml)
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch diluted in a little water (5 ml)
Method
  1. For the Peanut Sauce:
  2. In a small saucepan on medium heat, mix all the ingredients.
  3. Stir and cook for about 5 minutes until reduced to a creamy sauce.
  4. Set aside.
  1. For the Spicy Orange Sauce:
  2. In a small saucepan, whisk all the ingredients and bring to a boil.
  3. Let simmer for about 1 minute until it thickens.
  4. Set aside.
  1. For Serving:
  2. Serve with dumplings, egg rolls or spring rolls.
