  • 1 whole Chicken, chopped into 16 pieces
  • Cream of 2 whole grated Coconuts (or 3 packets of Coconut milk powder)
  • 1 large Turmeric leaves
  • 2 sticks of Lemongrass
  • 1 heap tablespoon Chilli powder
  • 2 cups Water
  • Salt and Sugar
  • Ground Ingredients
  • 6 medium size Shallots
  • 1 centimetre Ginger
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  1. In a wok, add in ground ingredients, chicken, coconut cream, lemongrass sticks, chilli powder and 1 cup of water and turn fire on to medium to low heat
  2. Cook the chicken for 20 minutes until tender, and add in the turmeric leaf and season with salt and a pinch of sugar
  3. Continue to cook until gravy becomes slightly thicker and chicken is cooked thoroughly
  4. Serve with steam white rice
