Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion, finely diced
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper, finely diced
  • 454 grams Ground Beef
  • One 15-ounce can diced fire-roasted Tomatoes
  • One 15-ounce can Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
  • Kosher Salt and freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 4 Hamburger buns
Method
  1. Heat the Olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and bell peppers and saute until softened, about 10 minutes. Add the beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, and cook until browned, 3 to 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, beans, tomato paste, vinegar, brown sugar, and some salt and pepper, and cook until slightly thickened, 10 to 15 minutes
  2. Serve warm on the hamburger buns
