Ingredients
  • 10 Black Peppercorn
  • ½ tablespoon dried Shrimp
  • 3 Shallots
  • 1 tablespoon Shrimp paste
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 cup Pumpkin
  • 1 cup Straw Mushroom
  • 150 grams Sponge Gourd
  • 12 medium Prawns
  • 2-3 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 1 cup Lemon basil
Method
  1. Finely pound shrimp paste, shallot, black peppercorn and dried shrimp
  2. Add paste mixture and water in the pot. Mix it well and let it come to a boil
  3. Add pumpkin and wait until it’s cooked before adding straw mushrooms, baby corn and sponge gourd
  4. When everything is cooked through, add the prawns
  5. Season with fish sauce
  6. Before serving, add and stir the lemon basil in the soup
