Ingredients
  • 283 grams (300 g) bittersweet or semisweet Chocolate, chopped
  • ⅔ cup (150 mL) unsalted Butter
  • ¾ cup (175 mL) Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 mL) Vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup (125 mL) all-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoon (2 mL) Salt
  • 85 grams (90 g) white Chocolate chips or chunks
  • 85 grams (90 g) Milk chocolate chunks
  • Decadent Chocolate Sauce:
  • 300 millilitres tin sweetened Condensed milk
  • 57 grams bittersweet Chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons pure Vanilla extract
  • Dash Salt
Method
  1. Preheat oven to 325 F (160 C) and grease and line an 8-inch pan with parchment paper
  2. In a bowl resting over a pot of barely simmering water, melt chocolate and butter, stirring gently Remove from heat and stir in sugar and vanilla
  3. Stir in eggs, one at a time. Stir in flour and salt Fold in white and milk chocolate chips
  4. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until a tester inserted in the centre of the brownies comes out clean.

  2. Slowly heat condensed milk, chocolate, butter and corn syrup in a small heavy-bottomed saucepot over low heat, stirring often
  3. Once chocolate is melted (but still looks grainy), increase heat to medium and stir constantly until smooth and creamy
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt
  5. Serve chocolate sauce warm
