Warm yourself up with this authentic Filipino sour soup with milkfish belly, perfect for sharing on a rainy day!

Let's start cooking!

Simmer soup with onion, tomato and green mango

Step 1 - Make the soup

  • In a deep pot, bring 5 cups of water to a boil and add in sliced yellow onions & tomatoes.
  • Mix in sliced green mango and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 2 - Add in fish and vegetables

  • Put in the milkfish belly.
  • Add sliced white radishes, eggplant and okra in the pot and simmer for another 3 minutes.
Add water spinach and chunks of preferred meat to elevate the dish.

Season and Serve!
