Step 1 - Mixing chicken
In a bowl, add minced chicken and preserved cabbage.Switch out the dong cai for Chinese sausages (lupcheong)if you’re feeling particularly carnivorous
Mix, then add the egg, 1 Tbsp cornstarch, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp white pepper, 1 tsp sugar, 1 Tbsp oil, 1 tsp sesame oil and 1 Tbsp shaoxing wine together and stir well.
Spoon the mixture into a heatproof dish.
Step 2 - Steam the chicken
- Steam chicken for 10 - 12 minutes. Alternatively, prepare a pot and fill with enough water for steaming the chicken, when the water starts to boil, add the chicken.
Let's plate and serve!
Garnish with spring onion and coriander leaves and serve hot!
