Steamed Chicken With Salted Egg
The perfect healthy-but-flavorful dish, topped with a salted egg yolk. Truly warming for the heart and belly!

Step 1 - Make meat mixture
- In a bowl, mix minced prawn, minced chicken, garlic, 2 sliced spring onion, 1 Tbsp sesame oil, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, grated ginger, 2 Tbsp water and 1 tsp sugar. Mix until well combined.
You can substitute prawns with additional chicken meat
Step 2 - Steam meat mixture
- Oil bowls with sesame oil, place meat mixture inside and top it with boiled salted egg yolk.
- Steam the bowls filled with meat mixture for 20 minutes, until fully cooked.
Best eaten with steamed rice or porridge
Garnish and serve!
After steaming, drizzle 1 Tbsp soy sauce and garnish with 1 sliced spring onion. Serve hot.
