Thai Bananas in Coconut Milk
A classic Thai dessert that is very simple, quick and easy to make, this sweet and creamy dish will be a delight.
Let's start cooking!
Step 1 - Melt sugar in water
- In a pot on medium heat, mix sugar and water for 5 minutes, until sugar dissolves.
Step 2 - Add sliced bananas
To the same pot, add sliced bananas and simmer for 10 minutes, until the bananas have turned slightly translucent and most of the liquid has evaporated.
Remove the bananas from the pot and spoon into serving bowls.
Step 3 - Make coconut milk sauce
In the same pan, add coconut milk, ½ tsp salt and sesame seeds.
Bring to boil and remove from heat.
Garnish and serve!
Drizzle coconut milk sauce over bananas and garnish with white sesame seeds. Serve hot.
