A classic Thai dessert that is very simple, quick and easy to make, this sweet and creamy dish will be a delight.

Sugar added into pot filled with water

Step 1 - Melt sugar in water

  • In a pot on medium heat, mix sugar and water for 5 minutes, until sugar dissolves.

Step 2 - Add sliced bananas

  • To the same pot, add sliced bananas and simmer for 10 minutes, until the bananas have turned slightly translucent and most of the liquid has evaporated.

  • Remove the bananas from the pot and spoon into serving bowls.

Step 3 - Make coconut milk sauce

  • In the same pan, add coconut milk, ½ tsp salt and sesame seeds.

  • Bring to boil and remove from heat.

Some research shows that consuming bananas regularly can help lower the risk of heart attacks.

Garnish and serve!
