Spice up your meals with this quick and easy Korean dish. Chewy rice cakes drowned in a delicious savory red sauce, taste a piece of Korea in your own home!

Step 1 - Slice fish cake and spring onions
- Slice fish cake into 1 cm slices and spring onions into 3 inches long.
Step 2 - Make tteokbokki sauce
In a pan on medium-high heat, combine dashi stock with gochujang, chili flakes and 1 Tbsp sugar.
Stir well until boiling.
Step 3 - Add rice cakes and fish cake
Once boiling, add in rice cakes and fish cake slices.
Let it simmer on medium-low heat for 15 minutes, until sauce will begin to thicken.
Stir occasionally so that the rice cake does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
Gochujang, Korean red chili paste, is a must-have for most Korean households as it is often used in Korean cuisines.
Garnish and serve!
Transfer tteokbokki dish into serving bowl and garnish with green onions. Serve hot.
