When in Bandung, visiting this Family Leisure Park is a MUST on your itinerary as a perfect day trip or weekend getaway due to its scenic location! Surrounded by the Burangrang Mountains, you can find a wide array of activities perfect for everyone in the family. You’ll be required to pay a nominal fee to enter the premises but you’ll be immersed in nature and soon enough, the only thing you’ll be thinking about is how beautiful the entire place is. Here’s a tip for you: remember to bring along thicker clothing as it can get really cold!
Many visit Dusun Bambu for its unique dining experience at Lutung Kasarung, where you’ll get to dine in a bird cage structure surrounded by foliage and a magnificent view. Do note that dining here doesn’t just include the cost of your meal but also a rental fee for the bird cage dining room, but having said that, it’s definitely worth the price for the experience especially if you’re dining there during sunset!
The restaurant serves Indonesian cuisine and Nasi Bakar is one of their popular dishes. The rice is wrapped in banana leaves and grilled to take on the flavor of the BBQ and banana leaves. Paired with deep fried chicken, sambal (chili) and a couple of sides, this is a dish that will leave you stuffed!
Kedai Mamah Eha

Popular with the younger local crowd, Kedai Mamah Eha serves a variety of Indonesian dishes, drinks and desserts. You can tell that this restaurant is popular with their ‘wall of fame’ consisting of a number of celebrities photographed dining here! Prices for their dishes are considerably cheap and their sambal (chili) especially well-known! Do try their flavorful squid with squid ink and rice which is surprisingly spicy but really delicious!
End off your meal with a wide selection of desserts! They have a couple of unique flavored brownies that are sweet and savory like the Cheddar Choco Raisin Brownie and Choco Lemon Cheese Brownie. If you’re a huge fan of Matcha, you should definitely try the Green Tea Brownie with Walnuts!

Kartika Sari sells an impressive variety of traditional snacks, biscuits and kuehs (traditional cakes and pastries) that are perfect as gifts! Various flavors of Kueh Lapis (layer cake) is available, although we highly recommend the Prune-flavored one! Also, don’t forget to try their signature Pisang Bollen which is a pastry stuffed with banana and cheese!
