Jason Yeoh, also known as Axian, combines his passion for travel and food in his new adventures across Asia. He has achieved international success, earning the titles of Best TV Talk Show, Best Lifestyle Programme in the Malaysia National TV Broadcasting Awards, and Asian TV Awards.
Born in Penang, Malaysia, Jason grew up assisting his mother in her curry laksa stall. He got his first taste of the show business when he worked as a radio deejay for Cast Radio in Sarawak, Malaysia. After completing his studies in Electronics and Telecommunications at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, he worked as a Telecommunications Network Engineer for more than a year. However, he realized that his real interest was in broadcasting! He eventually joined Malaysian satellite television Astro, where he worked in various roles, including TV presenting and broadcast journalism.
Currently, Jason produces and hosts Axian’s Food Adventures and Taste with Jason, where he unearths some of Malaysia’s most unique hidden gems and unravels the secrets behind these mouth-watering delicacies. Join him as he ventures out of Malaysia and explores the Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippine in Jason Tastes Asia beginning June 2016, where he immerses himself in local culture and uncovers the various Chinese heritage influences in South East Asia’s culinary scene.
