Friends from the moment they met, Jenny Morris and Reza Mahammad are combining their extraordinary knowledge and passion for food and opening the doors of their Food Academy. Jenny and Reza will be teaching six ‘would-be’ chefs to create a delicious feast, passing on inspired hints, tips and techniques on how to cook like a professional. Their aim is to demonstrate that with a little know-how, all of us can produce delicious food. From the beautiful basics to wonderful Mediterranean and Asian inspired dishes, all will be served up with Jenny and Reza’s unique humor and sheer joy of cooking at their Fabulous Food Academy.

Born in England, Reza has developed a unique take on Indian cuisine. Drawing from his passion for music and penchant for the arts, he says, “a symphony of taste which feeds the senses is like beautiful music which nourishes the soul”.
Reza enjoys experimenting with new flavors and techniques, seeking inspiration from all around the world and adding elements and ingredients that bring new dimensions to traditional Indian dishes.
His career in the culinary arts began at the age of 16, when his father passed away and he took over the family business managing The Star of India. Currently, it is one of London’s most successful and prestigious restaurants, with Reza being both chief chef and proprietor. Cooking is a real passion for energetic and infectious Reza, who learnt to cook using his heart and instincts. He developed his culinary skills from picking up a few recipes from his mother and improvising on the restaurant’s existing menu, striving each time to make food appear as appetizing as possible.
Reza currently resides in West London, and continues to create recipes that are inspiring, modern and uncomplicated.

Jenny Morris, also known as The Giggling Gourmet, is one of South Africa's best-loved celebrity chefs.
Jenny began her culinary journey 14 years ago, managing a food catering business that eventually branched out into a culinary school and food tour company. An adventurous foodie at heart, Jenny’s style of cooking involves layering different flavor profiles to achieve a delicious balance. Her unique style of cooking has set her apart from other chefs. Jenny has developed a reputation as a culinary authority, being one of South Africa’s most sought after celebrity chefs. She is often approached by leading brands to develop recipes and make special guest appearances at major food events.
Jenny also relays her love for food and cooking through regularly contributing to food columns in newspapers and various magazines. She has also published several cookbooks, most notably Rude Food, Nude Food, Good Food which was published in 2004 and More Rude Food in 2006.
Jenny currently resides in Cape town, South Africa.
