Hosted By: Aaron Craze
Aaron Craze hosts the third season of Asian Food Channel’s, The Amazing Food Challenge – Fun in the Philippines. His other credits include Junior Bake Off, Taste Off, Pet School and Aaron Craze’s Rude Boy Food, which also aired on AFC in 2013. He is also a regular on Jamie Oliver’s YouTube channel, Food Tube.
Aaron wasn’t raised by chefs nor was he always determined to become one – it was after going through a succession of low paid jobs, including working in a factory as a gardener and a carpet-fitter, that his partner, Nicci, helped send out an application form on behalf of Aaron to partake in Jamie Oliver’s ‘The Fifteen Apprentice Programme’. It was in this programme that Aaron developed a strong passion and love for food. In 2004, he graduated with merit and has since worked at The Ivy and also in the kitchen at Fifteen, where he worked his way up to Chef de Partie. Aaron then participated and won ‘Jamie’s Chef’ in 2007, after which he was given his own place – The Cock Inn and Braintree.
He has been featured in a variety of magazines including Good Food, as well as received great reviews in the Sunday Times Magazine and the Sunday Telegraph. Aaron’s first book ‘Aaron Cooks Italian’ was published in June 2008.
Aaron is a huge music lover and when he’s not in the kitchen, he spends his time playing the guitar and saxophone with friends and listening to his idol Bob Marley.
